Russel Terriers, commonly called Irish Jacks or Shorty Jacks, are a small version of the Jack Russel Terrier. Shorties generally are around 10-12 inches in height and weigh 10-15lbs when full grown. Their hair coat comes in both smooth and rough coat as well as an in-between type called broken coat. Unlike the larger Parsons Terrier, Russel Terriers have a quieter demeanor. They are well suited as a family or farm dog. Our shorties are just as content being couch potatoes as they are catching mice in the barn, following the tractor, or going on a twelve mile hike. They are loyal, affectionate, and eager to please. 

Our Russel Terriers are all AKC registered and Embark tested for genetic conditions. We raise our puppies in our home along side their parents and other adult dogs and they are well socialized with people and other animals on the farm. All puppies come with AKC registration, initial vaccinations, and a 30 day health insurance plan through AKC.
